This App uses Firebase services, which may also collect data according to Google's policies.

4. Health Data and Third-Party Integrations

Trackie offers optional integrations with health platforms to automatically sync your activity data:

• Apple Health (iOS): We may read your active energy burned data from Apple Health to automatically track your physical activities and calculate calories burned.
• Health Connect (Android): We may read your total calories burned data from Health Connect to automatically track your physical activities and calculate calories burned.

Important:

• Health data integration is optional and requires your explicit permission
• We only read data from health platforms - we do not write data back to these platforms
• Only activity and calorie data is synced - no other health information is accessed
• You can revoke access at any time through your device settings
• Health data is stored securely using Firebase services
• We do not share your health data with third parties except as required by law

5. Voice Recognition and Speech-to-Text

Trackie offers an optional voice recognition feature that allows you to log meals by speaking instead of typing:

• How it works: When you use the voice recognition feature, your device's microphone captures audio, which is then processed by third-party speech recognition services (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech-to-Text on Android) to convert your speech into text.
• Audio processing: Audio recordings are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently on our servers. Only the transcribed text is saved to your account.
• Third-party services: Voice recognition is handled by platform-native services (Apple on iOS, Google on Android). These services may process your audio according to their respective privacy policies.

Important:

• Voice recognition is optional and requires your explicit permission to access the microphone
• Audio recordings are temporary and are deleted immediately after transcription
• Only the transcribed text is stored in your account - audio recordings are never saved
• You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings
• We do not share audio recordings with third parties except as required by the speech recognition services
• If voice recognition fails, you can always use alternative methods like taking a photo or typing your meal

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase services. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. However, no online service is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
